Innovation synopsis:

Before weaving various patterns on the loom, a hand winding process of yarn is required in the traditional ‘Tie & Dye’ Pochampalli silk saree tradition. This is a very tedious and cumbersome process and involves two and fro moving of the hand thousands of time in a span of four-five hours. Mallesham (37), a traditional weaver, has made a device to mechanize this process and relieve women, who generally do this task, from the drudgery involved.

3nethra is an intelligent, portable, non-invasive, non-mydriatic, low cost device that helps in pre-screening of five eye major diseases - cataract, diabetic retina, glaucoma tools, and cornea issues & provides accurate refractive index measurements. Inbuilt Auto detection Software generates a pre-screening report on the problem detected within less than 5 minutes of screening. 3nethra can easily be operated in a rural environment by a minimally trained technician to benefit rural patients. This device has integrated telemedicine & data centre that can easily help scale through remote diagnosis and treatment. 3nethra has been developed with the sole aim of enabling mass pre-screening outside the hospital environment, so that doctors spend time on needy patients.

Kisan Raja solution allows the farmers to remotely control the agricultural motor using his mobile or landline. An IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) in local language helps in making selections for switching ON or OFF. Farmers also receive voice alerts for faulty power supply, motor not starting, lack of water in the well/bore, and attempt of device/ motor theft.
